Overview
1,174 clerical posts in Madhya Pradesh's district and sessions courts.
The High Court of Madhya Pradesh is recruiting Assistant Grade-III staff for the district and sessions court establishments across the state. Advertisement No. 614/Exam/2026 was issued on 14 August 2026 for 1,174 posts.
On 15 September 2026 the High Court extended the last date for online applications, with fee, to 5 PM on 30 September 2026, and moved the correction window to 6–8 October 2026.

Why 153 posts are provisional
Madhya Pradesh raised OBC reservation from 14% to 27% in 2019, and that increase is still before the High Court. Results are therefore declared in two parts: 87% of posts (1,021) in the main result, and 13% (153) provisionally, to be settled by the court's final decision.
Within these posts, 35% are reserved horizontally for women, 10% for ex-servicemen and 6% for persons with disabilities. Reservation and age relaxation apply only to Madhya Pradesh domiciles; candidates from other states apply as unreserved.

Eligibility
A degree, a CPCT score card and a one-year computer diploma.
Qualification (by the last date of application)
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.
- A CPCT score card from MAP-IT, or another agency recognised by the Madhya Pradesh government.
- A one-year diploma in computer applications from an institution the state recognises. A B.E., MCA, BCA, M.Sc. or B.Sc. in IT or computer science, and AICTE-approved computer diplomas, are accepted instead. A B.Sc. or B.Com. with computers as just one subject is not.

The minimum age is 18. Staff who have worked at least five years on a contract post equivalent or higher in the MP High Court or district courts get relaxation for that period, up to a maximum age of 55.

Application fee
A ₹743.40 portal charge for everyone, plus ₹200 for unreserved candidates.

The fee is not refundable. Candidates who qualify for the Hindi typing test pay a further ₹743.40 portal charge to take it.

Exam pattern
A 100-mark online prelims, then a 50-mark Hindi typing test.

The prelims only screens. About five candidates per post in each category, including everyone tied at the cut-off, are called for the Hindi typing skill test, and prelims marks are not used in the final result.
Hindi typing skill test — 50 marks
Shortlisted candidates must send their application and documents to the High Court by the date it sets before taking the test; candidates whose papers are incomplete are rejected. The test rules and the date are announced on mphc.gov.in.
The prelims may be held in Jabalpur, Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Sagar, Satna and Ujjain, in one or more shifts.

- 2Read the Advertisement, then use Registration to get a user ID and password on your mobile and email.
- 3Complete the Application with your photograph and signature, preview it, and submit.
- 4Pay the fee online by debit card or internet banking, and print the completed form.
- 5Fix any errors through Edit Application between 6 and 8 October 2026. Details entered at registration cannot be changed.
